Jennifer A. Piscionere
Welcome to my digital home! I am currently a doctoral candidate in the Astronomy Group in the Physics and Astronomy Department at Vanderbilt University. I am interested in why and how galaxies live in dark matter halos, the most massive objects in the universe. To do this, I use cosmological simulations and galaxy surveys. My advisor is Prof. Andreas Berlind.
I am originally from Carmel, New York and completed my B.A. in Astrophysics from Columbia University. While there, they let me touch some telescopes. I currently live in Nashville, TN. The picture at right was taken in the city of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
