OpenMP code to (stupidly) parallelize system commands in a file Just write out all the independent system commands into a text file, and then run this code (with the filename and nthreads arguments). The code will dynamically schedule and execute "nthreads" system commands at a time. *Update* - GNU sem tool (if it is installed) will do the same for you. Use sem -j Nthreads < input_file.
